Create a Spotify Account

  1. Open the Spotify account page and select Sign up for Spotify.
  2. Enter your email, create a password, and provide the requested personal details.
  3. Review and accept the Spotify terms to finish registration.

Claim Access as an Artist or Manager

  1. Open the Spotify for Artists claim page and select Artist or manager.
  2. Sign in and confirm the Spotify account you want to use for Spotify for Artists.
  3. Search for the artist name or paste the Spotify artist profile URL, then confirm the correct artist.
  4. Enter a business email and complete email verification.
  5. Enter your name, role, country or region, and other requested information, then complete the CAPTCHA.
  6. Check the profile image and artist name, then connect social profiles that can verify your relationship to the artist.
  7. Accept the terms and submit the request. Spotify will email you with the review result.

The artist must already have playable music on Spotify before the profile can be claimed. Where possible, show contact details on the connected social profiles that match the claim email so Spotify can verify your identity.

  1. Select Label team member on the claim page.
  2. Search for an existing label team, or create a new team and enter the label name.
  3. Enter the registration email and complete email verification.
  4. Enter the team name, company name, role, billing country or region, and a company website or professional social profile. The company name should match the team name.
  5. Add three Spotify track or release links where that label appears as the Source.
  6. Accept the terms and submit the request. Wait for Spotify's email response.

To check a label's displayed name, open a track menu in Spotify, select View credits, and review the Source field.
