Release Type
Determine whether a release is a Single, EP, or Album.Single
A release must be identified as a Single when it meets either of the following conditions:
It contains one to three tracks with the same title, indicating multiple versions of one song.
It contains one or two tracks with different titles.
Each track is approximately 10 minutes or less. Videos do not count toward the track total.
EP
A release must be identified as an EP when it meets one of the following conditions:
It contains two tracks and at least one is longer than 10 minutes.
It contains four to six tracks with the same title, indicating multiple versions of one song.
It contains three to six tracks with different titles.
Its total duration is between 10 and 30 minutes and does not exceed 30 minutes.
Album
A release that does not meet the Single or EP criteria is an Album.
